Billy is a vastly experienced sea angler who is always happy to share that knowledge and swap fishing tips, give him a shout over by the Tronix display at the Spring Open Weekend.
If you’re new to the sport, Billy will be on hand to explain different rigs, techniques and baits & how to get the best out of them. As a product developer for Tronixpro he’s also got a breadth of knowledge on their extensive range of rods, reels, rigs and accessories.
Billy is one of Scotland’s most successful sea anglers, he has represented his country at the world championships multiple times including a silver medal in the World Shore Angling Pairs in France.
Billy fishes a range of venues from clean beaches to rock ledges and has put his gear to the test on some seriously rough ground. He’s a regular competitor in Sea Matches from his home waters on the Clyde estuary to world championships. As a former Youth International manager he’s also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to coaching so if you’ve got any queries on match fishing or just getting the best out of your sea fishing this year
